Thomas has been turning wrenches since he was a kid. After a standout career working with major dealerships (including Gough Cat, where he won Apprentice of the Year in 2014), he launched Mauger to deliver the kind of service he always believed in: practical, dependable, and done with pride.
Thomas leads with a technician’s eye and a business owner’s drive. He specialises in field servicing, diagnostics and component rebuilds, and still gets stuck in on the tools when it matters.
Thomas Mauger, Director and Founder, is a qualified heavy diesel mechanic with years of hands-on experience. He started Mauger to deliver straight-up, reliable service for New Zealand’s heavy transport industry. Brayden Didham, our Workshop Manager, runs the floor and keeps the team working efficiently. Together, they lead with practical know-how and a focus on getting the job done right.
